More Civilisations

Keep in mind there's probably still close to a week at least before we can think of release, we've been having some issues with the custom promotion for the Mughal UU causing other units to have weird promotions, so that's holding us up a bit
 
I've been playing with a bunch of these, and they're terrific! Interesting, fairly balanced civs with lovely artwork and designs. Makes me wish Firaxis was adding fan-made civs as official ones.
 
The hype meter for India is off the charts!

BTW, when you eventually get around to the Māori, you are required by law to put
Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu on the city list (Wales ain't got nothing on Hawkes Bay)

I am also hyped for the Maori and Polynesia pack. Grouping the Maori and other groups together felt so dirty in the base game. And not in a good way.

Also, I don't suppose there's any chance of getting a Haast's Eagle easter egg unit? :P
 
If anyone in the steam workshop say 'Indian Pack Civ X is OP!' I will personally arrive at his house and annihilate him.

I am the only one who is annoyed by the fact that ALWAYS someone will appear on Steam Workshop to say that X civ is Overpowered? The only thing I hate on Civ Steam Workshop more than OP retards are custom civilisations whose unique ability is 'Increased combat strenght on friendly territory'. :p [I have seen at least dozen of civs with that insanely creative and unique ability]
 
I think the more annoying thing for me is those people who say they're having a problem but don't provide any information whatsoever about the problem, and if its to do with Steam not downloading the mod, those who don't bother to look at the description are really something... Although the "this is OP crowd" is annoying...

I may not have released a mod, but I can confirm that this even annoys me.
 
Haha, yes especially guys who cry that mods don't appear on their mod list and don't bother google one of the zillion general threads about this global steam problem :p

Few days ago I was releasing big number of my little balance mods (to be honest their success astonished myself - creating 'Roman Ballista doesn't have to set up' mod took me 3 minutes and after four days on workshop it is top mod of the week :p ) and one crazy guy was commenting almost each of them 'OP!' 'This was already OP and now it is even more OP!' 'You have no clue about this game and balance!' and this particular guy disliked ~7 of my mods :lol: What a fury :lol:

I hope he suffers when he is seeing popularity of my tiny mods :p

The coat (and the cable-backed bow looking thing) makes me think Inuit, or a similar culture/nation.

Oh, the OP trolls... they're annoying because they make it difficult for me to find legitimate suggestions as to how to improve my mods. There was this one guy who commented on my Celtic mod who said that literally every UA/UU/UB was OP, lol. Then there's the nitpickers who get all fussed because you didn't spell something the way they think you should have, haha.

As for Sukritact's new icon there I'll have to concur. My first guess is the Inuit as well. Looks like we'll have a couple of good versions of them to choose from :).
