More Civilisations

"I love you, you love me, we mod Civ 5 and B.E..."

"Roses are red, violets are blue, pookie is great, sookie's map too."

Do they have a Marsh aspect to their UA, or were the Dutch mentioned in the aspect that they gain the ability to build the UI of any civs they have a DoF with? Another civ that makes use of marshes would be good because there really aren't many that do, but a UI stealer is really interesting.

They can have a UA that makes them ignore terrain costs in natural territory.
I don't seem to find any unique things about them though.

I'd never heard of the Calusa before, but they seem definitely interesting, and I look forward to how they turn out!

I'd heard of them, but until I read up a little more I wasn't aware that they were completely wiped out as a culture, like the Taino. Makes things a little more poignant.

I have a feeling they're marsh oriented, since it does seem to be a significant aspect to their culture. I'm not entirely sure how one would even code a UI stealer, and I recall the Phillipines had issues with their UA that stole uniques, so another unique stealer isn't likely to show up soon.

Maybe their UA will allow them to ignore certain terrain requirements.

i have an idea for calusa's UA:

People of the water

cities founded on the coast spawn unique luxuries in coastal tiles. +1 food from sea resource tiles.
coast tiles count as fresh water sources, and vice versa.

OR:

coastal culture

+1 food from sea tiles. +1 extra food from sea tiles with resources. coastal cities start with free harbor, and yield double food in internal trade routes.
