More Traits

I think we may need with current "Developing Leaders" more traits, esspecially tier 2 and 3 traits of those basic.

Also some traits are much better than another or has litttle use. The two which are most annoying for me is progressive (no visible bonus until late era) and Nomad (which is useful mostly in very early eras).

I use "alternative traits" option and "pure traits" option and "no negative traits" option if it changes anything.

I would like traits like Nomad II (premmies for later animal-based units, requires Nomad) and move Progressist to hmm... Progressist III, and fill the hole?

Developing Leaders is DH and T-brds joint project. And I would say it's not top of the List atm.

But +1 too about Nomad. Really useless after prehistoric era.

Maybe add something for megafauna and cavalery?

PS: Maybe I should do a modmod on traits? But please someone tell me how to make tier 2 of traits?

EDIT: ls612, how do you debugged game for advanced leaders? did you used any cheatcodes or so?
 
If you're going to work on traits, you should start with rebalancing and restructuring the base ones. I'll take a moment later to explain how to arrange traits with tiers for developing leaders.
 
I'll begin with ls_traits and fix them a bit, then I'll think on new traits which would be adaptated to them. I think 3 tiers off traits (1 to 3) would be enough or nearly future. Is there any way to change Developing Leaders speed of advance?

I agree with TB, if u are going to use anything about traits, use core ones, because the ls612 ones are kinda useless anyways . . and i am hoping TB is going to delete them soon anyways . .

There is not a big difference between ls612's and the Base Main traits. It's the extra Options of Negative, Positive, and Developing that is the real difference SO.

It's going to take me some time over the weekend to review this. Be patient. I may well add you to the team once I feel confident you have the full explanation of how to set traits up properly. You may have it down already so I'll look to see what you've done first.

In the meantime, I would actually try charting out what you intend so you can generate and share the plan easier than us having to read through xml. Have you seen the document I wrote out when I planned out the base traits? It needs a lot of editing unfortunately and some feel it's too complicated by having too many elements on each trait - some of that feedback I may agree with now. But it could at least give some ideas and share some of my thinking while also giving you a concept of how to format a chart.

Premmies? Are you asking what tags are available for traits? I'm not 100% sure how complete the list the link above goes directly to is but I THINK it was done off of the current available list of tags.

I could probably make the multiplier an exposed constant but it would take me a while to get around to it.
 
how to add entry which adds Health but only in capital?
How to add precise constant amount of food production to capital?
No problem with time, anyway it isn't ready :P
