Okay, so I was opening up a program, and all of a sudden I get a popup saying "System Error: Code 2. The system cannot find the file specified." and no other information (google isn't helping. I find a bunch of stuff about accessing local servers.). I press OK several times but it won't go away, and I hit the reset button.

On reboot, the resolution changed so it was very small and very stretchy.

Should I worry?

No. Dont run random crap programs and you wont have problems.

I've run the program before without any problems.

From the information supplied I can't be sure whether to worry or not, which pretty much leaves 'yes'. Assuming you've run the same kind of thing that genocidicbunny thinks, and judging by my similar past experiences I'd suggest you'll probably get on with your life and not notice anything. Experiences like this for me usually put a nail in the coffin for the current windows installation and one day I just decide to reinstall. Anyway, it may have been as simple as it intended to change resolution and simply halted.

Is the app in the same place it was when you ran it before (no hard to deal with path names or incorrect ini file entries)? Working directory setting?

It's in the same place.

I should also mention I was trying to open Windows Explorer and close other programs at the same time.

I've opened the program just fine after the reboot.

Maybe something to do with UAC.
