Morrowind!

i sided with the guy. when you kill the "witch", you get his axe, and you can either keep it or give it to him. i think he gives you some gold if you give it back to him, but im not sure, b/c that was a long time ago. what happens when you side withthe witch?

It doesn't make any difference, AFAIK. :)

BTW, I just realized today that all the NPCs in Morrowind are adults. Where are the children?

MINOR SPOILER

The guy attacks you and you have to knock him off. The witch gives you some potions.

@Thunderfall - There are no childeren so you can't kill them. Video game companies think if they put in kids people are just going to go crazy and start giving them dirt naps.

I'm addicted to this game.:( Its awesome!

I messed up. There is some lady out on the trails outside of town. She asks you to give a glove to some guy who robs her of her jewels because she loves him. Well, I was kind of busy and told her I would help but I was in the middle of doing something IMPORTANT. So, about a week later (last night) I remember that I promised to help this girl. I go and track down the thief and talk to him. Well, only problem is I can't find the glove. I think I may have pawned it on accident. And I don't remember where. 2 questions.

1. Do the things you sell stay with the trader you sold them to forever?

2. Did I miss something important because I couldn't talk to this thief about the girl?

-thanks, mayakovsky

nope, I never finihsed that quest either, and i think it depends on who you sell it to, like if you sell stuff to creeper, he keeps it, but some other ones don't

Don't worry about it. Most of the side quests have no effects on the outcome. :)

It depends on the stuff you sell. Often times the merchants will wear the good stuff you sold them immediately. A merchant in my game wears a full set of Orc armor and another wields a daedric shield. :D

BTW, I finished the main quest a couple days ago... going to start the Tribunal expansion quests soon... :)

Good. I just spent 4 hours going to all the traders, pawn brokers, and outfitters I could think of. I bought all of their gloves just in case. I have about 10 gloves with me.

Right now I'm trying to find the bow for the Ashlander's camp. I keep getting my butt kicked by ghosts and skeletons. Magic is not best quality. In fact I hardly ever use it.:( I'll get them tonight.

Why do you need so many gloves?

SunTzu and XIII: If you are tired of doing all those side quests, you should do the main quest. It's fun. :)

Because I sold her glove to somebody. I don't know who. So I'm buying all of the gloves from places I've been to in the hopes I find hers. I don't remember what it looked like. Needle in a haysatck? Probably.:crazyeye:

ah I see. If I were you I would just forget about it and move on to other quests. :p For example, outside of Caldera, you can escort a lady to a small village near the coast, and she will give you Boot of Blinding Speed (+200 to speed, 100% blind) in return. It's a very easy quest with excellent rewards. :)

I must have missed that one, or said no... :(
Go get it!! :) It's like the most useful item in the game. I think the woman's name is Pemenie and she wants you to escort her to Gnaar Mok.

Wear that boot plus a pant with constant 1pt levitation effect and you will be like super man, flying all over the world.

Remember Fallout 2? It had children in the north american version but not the Euro version I think. You could also download a patch that would remove children from the game.

I remember when theyd rob me, forcing me to kill them, then Id be a "child killer" and would be attacked by everyone no matter where I went.

Like other console RPGs I've played... Maybe they're in school! :)

Nah, one of main characters in Xenosaga is actually a kiddie girl.

I remember seeing kids in FFX too. :p

Kids in FF8 were in school... Kids in the Dragon Warrior/Quest series were either in school, or hiding in their bedroom at night.

Okay guys I have another question. Sorry.

Where can I find a nice big house? I'm at Caiuss'(sp?) house right now. The Blades guy. Even though he left I'm seriously running out of room. So, do you guys know if there is a house I can take from someone who is not involved in any quests or side jobs? One with more than one room would be great. For some reason in real life and in this game I am somewhat of a pack rat. I just can't let go of things. Too much sentimentality inside my heart.;)

Thanks. I don't mean to turn this thread into a FAQ/Walkthrough but I know if I go to Gamefaqs and look I will end up reading EVERYTHING and spoil the whole game.

I used the Council Club in Balmora myself - after clearing out the Camonna Tong fr it. ;)

TF and SunTzu used one of the Balmora manors...

Oh, this is a good game, bought it on Monday and have spent at least 60 hour experementing with various classes and things. I have this game to thank for me wasting all of last week. (Got it for $40 with Tribunal for free (Thats about 25 in US$))

A question about bugs. Was this game Beta tested? Because my game seems to have a lot of them. My computer is above reccomended Specs, yet it is jumpy, freezing every once and a while, and if I play the game for too long (Like 11 hours) it crashes, citing low virtual memory. I had a similar problem with another game, and the Developer told me that my video card did not support Direct X 8.1, but the dxdiag says it does. so weird.

But anyway, at level 6 with my main mage charicter (after gaining three levels in five minutes, how? I came across a large sorce of cash in the name of a greater sole gem worth 60k and sold it in mornhold and maxed out many skills in order for me to get a promotion at the mage's guild)) and all ready a member of the Talvanni (sp.) house. I think, however, I will wait a bit before I do any of thier missions though. I think, I might go and play now that I have finished my work.

Cya, and go vote f at the 18th Apolyton Stories Comp! I have two stories in the finals this time.
