Right now, I've defeated Dagoth Ur (too easy, too easy ), and I'm completing the pilgrimage to Saryon. (And no, I don't mean the temple pilgrimage, but that one you get only afterwards the real main quest) I'm stuck with the fourth corner of house troubles, becouse I can't find the funny-named glove from Ald Daedroth.

All righty -- apparently there are three rats or so in one woman's home in Balmora. However, only one appeared when I opened the door. She doesn't seem to be happy yet, so should I leave the house first?

Edit: Never mind, they were upstairs! And I was killed by cave rats.

I was never killed by them, but only becuase I ran out in time Try again they should be easy even for a first-level char.

Heh, yeah they were fairly easy to kill. They got me down to half of my health, though. What's a good basic armor? Should I just go with a cuirlass for now?

It depends on what armor class you are going, heavy, light or medium.

With light armor chitin cuirass is a good one in beginning, but later you should get full glass armor.

If you have Tribunal expansion pack you should get dark brotherhood armor (if light armor is your major/minor armor skill).
You can get it early and it's 2nd best light armor in game (IIRC) and very light too.

Yeah those assasins are so funny. They attack me and I kill them in one hit and sell there armor and train. that's how I got to level 10 mainly.

I first met them on level 35 (as I got the expansion). Now THAT was tough!

CC your best armour would depend on which armour type you want to advance.

I need to ask this, should I spoil his joy of finding one ultimate armor easily just by telling him where to find it, or just leave it up to him? It's a light armor that gives 60% magic resistance, and round about 100 armor.

Heh, kinda figured I would get that answer. I have actually played beyond getting the gold, but there is so much to do...nah, I better keep on with my quest.
