I had an introductory religious studies class taught by a black preacher. It's material that interests me anyway, but man, he sure knew how to present it engagingly.
I also took an intro to cinema class that had a pretty eclectic selection of films for screening (including They Live, Car Wash True Stories, Velvet Goldmine, and that weird cut of Metropolis with all the 80s music) which honestly gave me a better approach to the medium than only watching canonical classics. The professor was a hipstery white guy whose scholarship was on Blaxploitation cinema, and I guess it's roughly the sort of class you would expect from him.
