Hope you were able to get a good game together.

If you like CIV5 I highly recommend the G&K expansion. It seems like most of the MP interest is for G&K games too.

If you are interested in MP I recommend you read the Guide to civ5 multiplayer sticked at the top of this forum. At present the most active MP chat group is http://steamcommunity.com/groups/NO_QUITTERS and you can get some excellent games there. However they have some strict rules about quitting and the games can go very long.
