MP first turn random changing bug

It doesn't happen every time but it has happened twice in the 5MP games I've played. The first turn in we go back to the loading screen as if we were starting a new game. The first time this happen it took my friend's city, civ, warrior and all and moved it's location to a completely different part of the map. They could still see the little spot where they had landed their city elsewhere.

The second time this happened it effected me. I had a completely different civ than the one I started with.
