MTDG3 Warmup Game 2 (w/Double Turn mod)

I have registered at no-ip.org to make it easier for people to remember my connection info. So, you have the option of using the IP of course - or you can use this address instead:

(In the case that my ip should change, which is unlikely based on the fact that it hasn't changed from my ISP for the last 3 years, my router will automatically tell no-ip.org that the ip has changed)

How it is possible for me to end my turn before even loging in this same turn? Same goes for Inky too. I though it is some kind of Civstats glitch, but when I logged, it was true - my turn was finished just as if I had hit EoT without moving anything. Is it because the turn actually run out, but it was extended because someone declared war at someone else?

Yes, turn was extended for Kloreep, because it is in a state of war

the mod had finnish your turn after 15hs , the turn keeps rolling because are players at war .. so, in fact the efective time to play its longer, but the "original" time was ended by 3:08pm

Speaking of Kloreep, I had PM'd him about why he's missing so many turns and he said he's only able to log in once a day in the EST evenings. So because of the short turns (and wartime thing often making it so he can't even log in during the evening if his opponent hasn't ended their turn), he's not able to play all the time reliably. I suggested he either find a sub or at least a partner to help play the turns. Someone missing so many turns seems to be hurting the game IMHO. Maybe there is someone how there who can team up with him?

Of course, it needs an additional member of the team in the game with a timer in 13 hours if he can play just once in 24 hours.

Yeah, this is just not good right now. Inky has now missed 5 turns in a row.
I think we either need his Civ set to AI, or get a replacement player. This is detrimental to the game.

Let me know what happens with inky. I can resign him to AI if he does not return, or noone wants to take over his spot. Have any of you tried to PM him?

I sent him a PM yesterday, but he also hasn't been on CFC since the 6th.

Maybe I should just resign him to AI nonetheless, and if he returns he can reclaim the civ? Even the AI does a better job than nobody doing anything with the civ at all.

What do you guys think?

I can, as soon as the turn ticks. I managed to log in to one of the other teams accounts in the main ISDG instead though, so I did a terrible mistake by not checking thoroughly what I was doing.

You're actually better off switching to AI before the turn flip, if someone will be taking over. That way they can claim the civ before the flip and it doesn't go through an actual turn of AI.
