Multiplayer LAN prob

I am trying to play a LAN game with my college roommate and everytime we get a game going it seems to work fine. Then, like ten or twenty minutes into the game my computer will just exit out to my desktop. It only happens on my computer and I have no idea what it could be. Any suggestions?

if you are playing via wireless this happens a lot. Try, if you're not already, playing via the network with it wired.
