I don't know what game, preferably not Civ, but I want to play against/with other people here in multiplayer.

I'm thinking perhaps some Total War since a lot of people have that, not sure what else.

Many of the games that I play are listed in my x-fire profile, also my screen name is usualy Maniacal or Maniacal_Pencil.

I also have Red Orchestra and a few Half-Life 2 mods.

And NO COUNTERSTRIKE.

Cool - but most of the games i play either don't have multiplayer or i suck at them in multyplayer.

An excellent idea, though I'm fairly inactive in most things multiplayer these days.

Some of my online details though:

Steam Friends name: hinden_gor (I do occasionally play CS: Source or Dod: Source, usually under the name Kan_Sharuminar or Kaiser Phil)
Battlefield 2: Kan_Sharuminar (Will probably be getting back into BF2 soon. I go under this name)
Lord of the Rings Online name: Hinden (I think this is all you need to find me.)

I don't play much else online, except for Civ4 and that's only with my friends. Can't even remember what my name in that is, though probably Kan' Sharuminar again.

How about EUIII?

I mainly play Enemy Territory, when i play multiplayer. It's been months since my last match, though. You link reminded me that i have a xfire profile, too. Never really used it much, obviously.

And NO COUNTERSTRIKE.

I know people have RTW and MT2.

Perhaps a vanilla multiplayer match?

Why no CS?

Can't play a Rome match, as it's a modded game I use right now. Also the last time I tried to play it online I had some nasty lag. Never tried Medieval.

And it's a pity I never got into Enemy Territory, would have been good to have official figures for how I destroyed Till in battle.

I don't like CS. Too much running and spray 'n praying.

I guess anything besides turn based wouldb't be good unless the others and the server were in North America anyways, I'm too far from Europe.

Any multiplayer games would have to be against someone fairly local as otherwise pings will be too big to play, unless its something like civ where it doesn't really matter.

Well, as long as we are on the same continent...

I don't know what it is, but pings in Red Orchestra for me tend to go high (a lot are around 200 even when they are only in the eastern States) but are still playable (230 ping avg, I was leading the scoring). Whereas in CoD:UO the pings for the east coast are more like 150.

Silent Hunter 4 would be nice, but I think I'll buy that after I play X3. However it would be interesting to read abotu you guys playing it.
