Regarding the multiplayer (text) chat system, I would like to propose several features that are relatively common, easy to add and would make it easier to follow the MP (text) chat and participate in it.

1) In C3C messages have a fixed (5 sec?) fade time. It would be most helpful to have an option in the INI file to customise the fade time to something longer. Now one often misses messages because one didn't look at the screen (value = -1 means only replace old messages with new messages).

2) Add a shortcut key that opens a window with the message history so you can read past messages. If there is heavy chat, or there are various game messages, you cannot even read them all.

3) Optionally, have all MP messages stored in a TXT log.

Personally, I'd rather that they have a scrolling list and keep them around for (more or less) forever. In most MMORPGs, they keep the last few hundred messages for your perusal.

Fine with me. My basic request boils down to: Please make a form of scrollback available.
