Let's hope. That would make the game even better and add additional hours of civ fun.

There are always leaks and fake-leaks before big game releases. And just how the picture is shown here makes it look like a fake. :p
Also, in every other first look video, the leader wasn't directly behind the "First Look"-caption, but here coincidentally he is? Yeah...no.

Also, each and every First looks were "First look: Civ Name" but here it's "First look: Leader's Name"? It's kinda fishy, TBH

Obvious hoax is obvious. Photo contains caption, but Henry's face is not shown? 2Fishy4me. And the abscene of him on the alleged leakes board with all civs just further discards this fake. Besides, why would they make first looks for additional leaders, if they haven't even shown all the proper ones yet?

Because if he is a second leader, it would be a first look leader not a first look civ because the civ have already been shown;)

Does anyone really believe they are going to do multiple leaders for one Civ before they do just about every Civ in existence first?

They did for 2 and 4, so it's not unbelievable they'd do it for 6 as well.

I'd rather think they would put all alternative dlc-leaders (if there are any) in one and the same video, and not seperate. "First Look: Alternative Leaders" or something.

I get it, but if they were planning for multiple leaders (DLC or not) from the get go, they would standardize their format (i think so at least). So i can easily understand what difference between Victoria and Henry without having to watch First look: England again and trying to pay attention what abilities are called english and what Vic's.

It is possible that they would wan't to keep extra leaders hidden for a while, like in the same way they have not revealed some game mechanics or tech trees.

Like it is possible that they would want to make a video: "Multiple leaders make a return" or something like that.

The picture has such a low quality I'm fairly sure it's a real leak.

Note to self: Always carry a potato with you in case you stumble into some confidental info you could publish.

That and the last time Gamestar 'leaked' something it was the from the German presser, which contained everything in German.

I have very little faith in this being a thing.

Given how much it was desired to be in Civ 5 but never realised, their marketing team made a huge fail of not advertising multiple leaders, It would've been without a doubt a huge selling point for them in my opinion.

What would his LUA be? When England follows a religion they didn't found, Henry can found a competing version of the same religion and gain the leadership bonus?

Funny thing is, I once built that as a UA for a mod...

I'm inclined to believe this could be true. It makes sense that the developers would want to premier the civs we've been seeing in demos and other popular civs before announcing that there are multiple leaders.

Also, given the structure of civ6 vs. civ5, to me it makes sense that there would be multiple civ leaders. Given how they phrase "England's unique ability..." versus "Victoria's unique ability..." leaves plenty of room for this option of a second or third leader.

The reason I don't see this as necessarily clashing with the poster board theory is that that could very well be just one of many boards. There could be a second board of "secondary leaders," as well as a third board of "dlc civs" or so on and so forth.

Catherine's announcement today only, to me, proves that the first board are primary civ leaders. It makes sense that, specifically with France, they would want to announce her first because of fans not necessarily being well-acquainted with her as a leader. Though people like Montezuma I and Victoria are indeed well-known by the community, they both have potential reasons that they would need to be announced before the potential second leaders (for Victoria, it's rightfully important to show there will be gender diversity among civ leadership instead of adding Henry VIII to the list of men we'll have). And since we have already been introduced to Victoria and England, it would make sense that the "First Look:..." would be attached to the leader and not the entire civ, since we have been introduced to the English civ already.

Also, it REALLY makes sense that Henry VIII would be added in this game because he fits the overarching themes of "Age of Exploration" and "Big Personalities."

Only time will tell though ;)
