Do you think there are significant chances of this happening? It was one of the things that bothered me in Civ5 because i felt that civs like Russia, Germany, America were these weird amalgamations of different periods of every respective country. For example i found it dumb to play with Bismarck and to have the Panzer as a UU. Something from around that period would have been a lot better in my opinion.

Which civs would you like to have multiple leaders and who would those leaders be?

I would like to see for these leaders for ex. Russia:
- Alexander Nevsky - as a representative for early Russian history
- Catherine the Great - as a representative for Imperial Russia
- Lenin - as a representative for Modern Russia

I hope this will be at least modable. To be fair for me leaders is not even important but I like to have the option to pick a certain state from certain CIV. For example Athens, Sparta (Greece) or Kiev, Moscow (Russia).

Personally, I think if there is a trade off between having multiple leaders per civ and more civs, I'd rather there be more civs in most if not all cases. I'm fine with a single leader representing multiple eras within one civ.

Still, I wouldn't be unhappy with multiple leaders in certain cases where both leaders are pretty interesting historically and especially cases where a civ is particularly "big" in the sense of having multiple distinct cultures/histories/empires - like, I'd much rather have multiple leaders for China or India than the US.

i hear what you say and i mostly agree with you. and yes China and India are great candidates for multiple leader.

Indeed, with each state having a different capital or a UU.

It can be great for civilizations like the Germans, the Chinese, the Persians, or the Spanish.

It depends on how much work the leaderheads are this time. It would be a shame if they were a downgrade from V's but it would mean there's more potential for that. Generally I prefer more civs over more leaders but under a 1:1 system India would be forever stuck with just Gandhi, so I'd be fine with them having multiple leaders.
