Multiple Monitor Problem

Hello,

With a GeForce 6600 with two monitors enabled, both in XP as 1024/768, when Civ IV launches, it full windows in monitor number 1.

However when I try to scroll to the right, which bleeds to monitor number 2, it wont scroll that direction.

In order to be able to scroll I needed to disable the second monitor in XP, so the full window would have an edge to scroll against.

Either a feature oversite, or a bug. AOE III does not behave the same way in full screen mode, either does Flight Simulator 2004 for that matter.

Cheers

Cian

I had similar problems including game crashing until someone showed me what to change in the init. file to force the game to install in a window --- do a search for the thread I started yesterday for the details of how to do it.

/%username%/my documents/my games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/civilization4.ini

fullscreen = YES/NO/ASK

choose 'no' for always windowed, 'yes' for always fullscreen, or 'ask' for a popup when you boot the game asking you. :)

There are also the height and width parameters that you can add in so the window comes up the same everytime without the need to change window size -- someone indicated in another thread that changing the window size on the screen after the game had booted caused other problems but cannot remember the details.
