They had the “Hymn to Nikkal” as the Carthaginian theme, which was really just a different interpretation of the Hurrian Hymn. So hopefully something a little more ethnically appropriate for Phoenicia!
I'm hoping the Youtubers upload all the versions of Phoenicia's theme they play before the live stream, since I'm not in the US right now and will be sleeping during that time.

During the last livestream, the devs said in Twitch chat that we should check back next week for something very interesting (or something along those lines), regarding the music. My theory is that they put the Ottoman theme in this video to not reveal whatever it is that's "interesting"...
I am happy to hear this. For a moment, I thought the Phoenicians would just share other civs’ themes, depriving Geoff Knorr of much deserved commissions.
Ottoman theme for Phoenicia FL has probably something to do with what Pete said on the last livestream, that we would get a big surprise from the music department. I guess Geoff Knorr might reveal the full soundtrack tomorrow on his channel or he could not reveal anything and we get the full soundtrack on the Civ VI Youtube channel. As there is only the alt leader remaining, the full soundtrack would bring Phoenicia theme plus all the others, as the alt leader won't get any theme.

FYI: For those interested in Phoenicia’s themes, @FXS_MisterKevin posted in another thread that there was an oversight on Firaxis’s part when they omitted the theme in today’s FL video, and we will hear it during the Thursday Livestream. Apparently, there is an interesting story on the recording process for this one...
They could bring Geoff or somebody else from the music team to the Livestream this week. It would be an unique Livestream that way and they could only play the music on and on while we see Carl doing his warmongering.

Phoenicia's theme might be really good and unique composed, because even Geoff Knorr's Youtube Channel hasn't posted the FL for it yet. Usually they revealed it earlier - Wednesdays 8 pm GMT I guess, for me was always 6 pm or so (Brazil's time).

I'm betting Knorr will post it after the Livestream on Thursday in the eastern USA (I'm already in Thursday in Asia ). I'm gonna have to miss watching the Livestream live (I have to get my sleep), so I'll miss the Phoenician theme being played before it.
