Alot of that electric jazz stuff will definatly work for future era music. Thanks.

Great! IMO the volume of some of the tracks needs to be reduced a little bit. Most of the ingame music for Civ4 is fairly quiet, and having to adjust the music volume down just for the modern and future era may be a bit annoying. If you like, I can take care of that, as well as reducing them to 128kbps so that adding music to the mod's download doesn't make it unnecessarily huge.

Since I know what sort music you're after, can you give me an idea how much you're looking for? Either in terms of overall size, overall time or overall number of files.

e.g. Would 100MB for each era be pushing it?

Some of the music I might be able to find will be even better than the tracks linked above.

Well I'm not saying that's the type of music I'm looking for. In fact this is probably plenty to use for that genra. I'll probably pull 3 songs from your list for the future era. I haven't decided which though, just listened to it and thought some of those tracks were good (and far better then firaxis's modern/future selection). If you're willing to format it and set the volumes, that's awesome. Give me day or two to select which tracks I want. Anyway I want a fairly eclectic mix in the future and modern era to reflect how music has become in modern times (music since the start of the 20th century has become quite varried in popular culture, as regional isolation of taste has been broken down). For modern, what I've been thinking recently would be a mix of big band, jazz, blue grass, rock and roll, and hymn/spiritual, at least I think these genras epitomize the music of the WW1-Internet time period, which is the time period I think Modern represents in Civ4.

I would use classical music, or at least instrumental music. Try the William Tell Overture, or Arthur Bliss' March from Things to Come

i just saw it was bad with lyrics really that bad so i changed a couple of them i'll edit my previous post.

I already know the two songs you listed but i feel there is enough classical music in medieval and renaissance.
