Hello. 
I've recently (late 2011) replaced my PC with an iMac, and have only just been able to purchase a copy of the Mac version of Civ4 Gold Edition. So far everything seems to be fine. I put the DVD-ROM in the drive, drag-dropped the appropriate folder from the disc to the hard drive as required. But this is where it goes downhill for some reason...
I go to load the game for the first time...and it doesn't respond.
I've never had the game on this machine before, so there shouldn't be any reason for it to be faulty really. I tried loading both Vanilla and Warlords apps, but get the same result.
My Mac runs on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b), with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 for RAM, on a Macintosh HD, AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB graphics, and plenty of hard drive space to spare.
Any form of help (especially the kind that works) is welcome!
