Well, here is an update guys. I responded to her email. I stated that most people do not invite their ex-boyfriends to their weddings and straight out asked if she really wanted me there or if she was just being polite.

We will have to see how she responds.

The response could be most anything, but I'm thinking a couple of ways are most likely:

A) She will respect your forthrightness and come clean, telling you how she honestly feels and why she sent you the invitation,

or

B) She will feel offended and tell you to kindly (or not so kindly) f*** off.
