My First Unit: Caltrop

Caltrop. Hand Weapon. The "crow's foot" was first used in 4th century B.C. It consisted of four or more sharp iron spikes that were thrown in front of a horse's hooves or infantrymen's feet.

I like this unit, I going to use this in the Alexander the Great Scenario. I'm glad I could help. :D
 
Interesting. I'm assuming it would be used like an ancient land mine (immobile, high defensive bombard?)

@Righteous Fist--Which "Alexander the Great Scenario" do you refer to?
 
Was this used during roman times (late republic)??

And of course, good job on your first unit!

He he. We now officially have too many land mines in Civ.

Naval mines, tripwire, regular land mines, and metal spikes. :D
