My Next Game

There are some awesome forum-comunity-games (is there a correct term for these?)going on right now, and I'm thinking of running my own take on own when Ramesses completes his adventure (steal a peek at his diary! Diary of a New(b) God)

Since it will be a community game, and there's some time before its going to start, I figured I would let the forum vote on which empire to be used. I'm crossing out India since the rules are going to favor a larger empire and Egypt because I'll be ready for a break from them! Cast your vote!

Voting will last for 2 weeks. Can't choose? No problem! I made it a multiple choice poll, so pick as many civs as you like.

I have to say, let chance decide? Earlier I've always bought up every expansion of Civ versions, giving me a plethora of civilizations to play with. Rather than specializing in one certain playing style or terrain, I often let the game surprise me. Honestly, that forces me to think on the fly rather than plan too much ahead.

I say random. Btw, I find it really funy that when I voted for random, every single civ had exactly one vote.

Also: From experience with community games, don't let decisions linger for more than a few days or people get bored.

I saw that - I take it to mean someone wanted to show general support for the idea without picking anything. Either that or someone wanted to make themselves irrelevant!

Good point - if Random wins, I will be restarting if either of those two come up first.

There will be a system of voting. Probably not polls.

What's worse - leaving your fate to random chance or fanatics? Random's been winning all along, but still 9 days left so cast your vote.

Wow, didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I thought I could list the civs from memory, and it looks like I fell short. Anyway Prussia = Persia
