it can be from a book a movie or anything just name it!
for me it would be a character from icewind dale Dritzz and he would have swords like the girl in blood rayne! like an assassin!:goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

Nah... bad thread and off-topic...
Civilization is based on reality... Drizzt doesn't exist, so...

I would add a minelayer because it would help defend me from other civ's units by damaging them in they ran into a minefield.

I would like to see a stealth battleship. Or maybe a better way to say it would be, a battleship the U.S. Navy would build today if they still built BB's and could afford them.

I would also like to see a Naval Fleet Unit. This would be a sea based version of the Army unit.

I love the Tiger II in PTW,

But I wish there was a Me109 and Tiger I!

:D

there is a missing unit in civ3, the napoleonic war unit, riflemen represent them to an extent, musket men are too far back

Stealth armor!!

Its massive engine produces only 100 decibels of noise rather than 120.

Also, stealth ICBM. If it weren't for the huge fireball, 4 miles in diamater, you'd never know it was there!

I would also like the Alpine Troops from Civ2 and some kinda of medium armor that comes at Synthetic Fibers but dosen require Aluminum or somthing. This is a little off topic but I would also like some of the old city improvments from Civ2 such as Stock Exchange, Superhighways, super market, also the farm worker action the goes over irigation and Cease Fires. :D

spec ops so my paratroopers can be upgraded (in the industrial you generally only have them for a small amount of turns before computers render them obsolete and there on eof the coolest units)

Battle Mechs, Drop Ships, Space Ports
Attack Helicopters. (MI 24 Hind, Apache Longbow, etc..)
A-10 Tank Killer
APC's
a medium level infantry between existing units rifleman and infantry

The naval army would be very good. It might be interesting if their was a unit that could sacrifice itself to sabotage a unit. It wouldn't do any damage but the unit wouldn't be able to move for a turn.

Barbarian leader, maybe appearing sometime during the medieval times. He will be able to create barbarian armies, give barbarians the ability to build cities, and speed up production in the existing barb cities. Should be interesting to see a barbarian army.

A comprehensive Military Unit Collection for modern warfare.

WWI

WWII

Korea

7 Day war (Israel/Arab)

Vietnam

Soviet - Afghanistan

Golf War

Weapons of mass destruction

Tactical Nuke - Destroy City

Atomic Bomb - Destroy City, 50% population/Units + 1 Tile adjacent to city - polluted.

Hydrogen Bomb - Destroy City, 75% population/Units + 3 Tiles adjacent to city - scorched and never usable again.

Some sort of biological warfare - various population reductions in one or multiple cities.

PS - I promise I'm not a psycho, it's only a game.

:D

An (effective) alarm clock that forces me to go to sleep on time weeknights...

Oooh, that would be great. The unit could be carrying a large, digital clock with the correct time on it. And every few turns would wave its arms and say something like "Hey Fool! You have to be at work in 3 hours!! Go get some sleep!!!"

That would be a real help.:D :D

I mentioned this in another thread, but I'd like to see a Satyagrahi unit , or at least an option in the unit editor so that if a unit is killed it increases the war weariness of either the unit civ or the civ of the killer.

I don't care if its the India UU, but to be truer to the full scope of history, and since this game is called Civilization and not "Uncivilized", there should be some reflection of the impact of anti-war, civilized groups and their impact on civilization. Gandhi had a gigantic impact on the West, just as MLKing had on the US, and these things should be in a game called Civilization.

And of course events and more diplomatic options. Like someone said, this game still hasn't caught up with Civ2 in those respects. Its sad that there is a thread here to debate whether SMAC or Civ3 is the better game. Civ3 should have been made with the strong features of SMAC added to Civ2 and then some. Instead, we are waiting (hoping) Civ3 will one day catch up to those old games in a lot of their features.

I would like to see some futuristic fantasy units. Giant robots piloted by people like in Mechwarroir. Or maybe infantry with rocketpacks that let them move over enemy units. They could upgrade from paratroopers.
