Name change? (Also, question about forums)

I may ask TF for changing my name... again. However, the past 2 times he changed it because:
He said that the >> in WerBack3>> is making problems (1st)
I asked him if he could change it to WerBackIII, because WerBack3 sounds stupid. (2nd)


I'll ask him for the simple WerBack. Most people know me that way!

I've often wondered why people like to change their names so often. I can understand at least once, if you joined and just chose something randomly and have now become a regular. Someone of you tend to want to change it on a regular basis.
 
some sites use <img>, <html> and etc. for the codes on higher ranks.

It's like changing clothes. You know - image change, makeover, changing mood etc. ;) :p
 
Thats exactly it. My current name means a lot i have grown out of.

Nah, it's cuz you lost credibility with the old one and you figure if you change your name noone will know who you were and you'll hava blank slate again.

ywah, cos there are so many people with my signature, avatar and post-count?

And credibility? If i cared for that i wouldnt have posted as i do. Im completely relaxed here - its great :)
