Name of Player changes midway through the game

My wife started a game of Civ by going through the custom game menu. she changed the name from the default (Steve2000) to her name. All is well, but midway through the game she goes to save or load (I can't remember now) and the name changes back to Steve2000!! It is not a big deal, but it is a little annoying, because she wants to be able to separate her victories from mine on the high scores list. Anyone have this happen, or have a solution?

Oh that is an annoying bug.

You could go into civ ini file found in civ iv folder and find your name listed as default and change it to your wife's name. Just look for the line marked with steve2000.
