Names of barb tribed

In which file can i find the names of all the barb tribes? I just want to take a look at them!

Not certain of the file itself, but IIRC correctly, in the "Civilizations" tab of the editor, you can select "Barbarians" from the dropdown and then down below will be a listing of the different Barbarian Tribes' names (where the civ city names normally appear).

Is it inside the "art" folder? if yes, where exactly?
inside the "text" folder? same!

I've searched it, but i couldn't find anything that appeared to be the barb names.

i don't have an Editor.

That's really odd. If you have the Civ3 CD, you should have the editor. Look in the "Infogrames Interactive/Civilization III" directory for a file called "Civ3edit.exe".

They just didn't port the editor to the Mac.

They should remove Mongol from the list of barbs in Play the World. It would be silly if you are playing the Mongols and your defense minister tells you there are Mongol barbarians near Karakorum.

And what about the Saxon and French?

I can see even more tribe's in the list that actually ARE the civ's in civ3.

It's in the editor, under Civilizations. Just look at the Barbarian Chiefdom list.

I think they just add every name of a civlization that is not a Civ to the BarbNames List (ehh, with a few mistakes).
