Natal - Real-life relationships with Xbox

Some of you guys are so cynical it sickens me.

It's not cynical if it's called for. There are some new techs brought together which are somewhat interesting, but the people showing this tech-demo are trying to hype this tech through a show that makes the user believe there is more to Milo than there really is. Molyneux doesn't make such claims, he doesn't address Milo's AI or his "independence", but it's still pretty deceptive and should be critically analyzed.

I'd like if someone could point out the specific things about the Milo tech-demo that are worth getting excited over, game-related if possible.

The facial movements does blow away the facial movements in HL2/Source Engine

Meh, when a game is awesome, I'm the first guy to get really positive and passionate about it and play it obsessively for a long time.

But we've all been disappointed by stuff. As for myself, I play a lot of different games, spend a lot of time gaming, and I have been disappointed quite a few times in recent years, with stuff like Spore and Assassin's creed immediately coming to mind, but far from being the only examples...

So over-hyping gets an increasingly stern and cynical treatment from me. Besides, they don't need my fanboyism or anything. They are a business, I give them money, that's all the thanks and praise they need from me. If they continue though, they won't even be getting the money anymore. I don't buy certain unrelated products on the basis of them lying to me. Like certain foods with zillions of health claims of them. Shove them.
