DOn't worry YNCS, no flag or evolving flag will be official until we have voted on it. You'll get plenty of opportunity to speak out your objections and preferences.
Since this is a democracy anyone is free to express themselves, also creatively. Let's encourage citizens to make more designs; in the end we will get a flag we all like.

And on a personal note: What flag do you like best and what can be done to it (if anything) to make it better still ?

I prefer Furiey's flag, the English-Scottish (pre-1701) Union Jack in orange. I also like your first flag, with the Union Jack in the canton. I'll accept your present flag, with the compass rose and rose in the 1st and 4th quarters. I just don't want a flag that's cluttered up with this, that and t'other stuck here, there and everywhere.

Actually, if someone could add something inside the Shield with the Navigational Star and or the 6 Stripes of Fanatannia.

This is actually the national flag of Virgin Islands, by chance the Roman Numeral VI, for DGVI. Quite a coincidence that can be used.

That is the U.S. Virgin Islands Flag with the NATO Compass Rose stuck on the shield. Surely you can do better than that.

Yeah, I planned on tweaking it, but fun how the Virgin Islands falg by coincidence matched our Roman Numerals VI. We would still have to replace the heraldic shield within the Eagle with the polled Fanatannian flag crest. I was just pointing out the vision here.
