I was thinking about a Sacfricial. A (draft) unit that you can either draft, or build. It costs one population and you can sacrifice him or her. Only for the MesoAmericans though, unless you think the others can be susceptable to it? :)

2. That sounds like a pretty good idea. Also, maybe allow sacrificing of captured workers.
 
Well R8XFT, I hate to do this...

1. I thought you would fix the Diplomacy menu. It's quite difficult to read/understand what's happening on the side bars (consider.pcx).

2. Haven't encountered one yet. :p

The diplomacy menu is as light as I could get it. I can read it; the only other option is to delete consider.pcx and use the default.
 
Yeh. Or maybe you could do the beige layer again and place it over the new one, and make it transparent, or at least so that the preview one (NA) is a bit visible.

Here's a thought - we've had a "Play the World" expansion pack for the main game - why don't we put in the download link "Play the New World?"
 
Yes and after that we could have a second expansion realised called "Native American Conquests" to make up for the dismal failure of the first.......Hahaha Just kidding!

Nothing but Clever, good ideas have come out of you so far R8XFT, I have no doubt that our "Play the World" would be better than Fixaxis' Play the World.

1. There are 19 tribes. the limit is 31, therefore the "Expanision" should add 8, for a total of 27. This Expansion could also feature that "Prediction Age" that Unexisted wanted. But any Prediction Age should have a Native Feel, and not simply be a port for the main game's Industrial Age.

2. I could start getting toghether that music patch now if you wish, but first I need to know, how exactly would you get the game to play the new music and not the default. Or perhaps the question should be, how do you get a "Playlist" of sorts in game? Since my idea was to get the main games Native American sounding track to play, in addition to the two Mesoamerican Scenerio's tracks, plus a few I had in mind to add.

3. I've started playing the new version of our mod, and its well, FANTASTIC! No bugs, no problems, no freezes, and EVERY tribe gets its own fully animated 3-D leaderhead!

Come to think of it R8XFT, what happened to those old leaderheads you did for everyone? That Haida/Tikkil leaderhead was pretty good, ya know, the one with the cool robe and hat? Are you going to make a 3-D animated version of that R8XFT?
 
On 2, I think it's in one of the text files. If not, then you simply name your the same as the default, and put it in the scenario folder.
 
This mod really rocketed guys. I don't know the level of popularity. Maybe if I requested all who is silenting viewing this thread to note it's popular I'd be satisfied. But we could definetly use an Expansion pack. 'Play The New World'. :D (Magnificent idea R8XFT!)

But, I'm sorry to say, that I don't plan on putting much attention into this mod. I have to spark the Rise of Egypt mod and another I have in mind.
Maybe, if you R8XFT or Sword_of_Geddon started a new thread you guys could become the leaders as I step down. Unless you think this thread can be more commercial? :)

And it was your idea to begin with! Really, don't leave now! Things are starting to get interesting.....

R8XFT: One question. I noticed that the "Silent Blade" unit was using the Persian Immortal's Civilipedia icon. Any reason for using this instead of the one I had? Did you not like it? Just curious.
 
I downloaded the mod into the scenarios file as instructed, but I still get an error that says a file is missing.

I also have a similar error with the WH mod, but did not encounter it with the Master of Myrror Mod. I wonder what I am doing wrong.

post the meassage the error gives you when it crashes. That way somebody might know what the problem is.
 
I started playing the mod last night, and so far it looks great! Will there be new world and whole world maps coming with the next version? Lurking on a few threads shows a few good looking maps of North/South America that would be great for this fantastic mod. I would do it myself, but honestly don't know the correct starting locations for many of the tribes. Keep up the good work guys!

I didn't change it - it's the one its always had. I didn't look at that unit all that carefully and assumed you'd used the Persian Immortal graphics for it. I thought that'd be a bit odd....

yaksack - it's not the scenarios folder, but the Conquests folder that it needs to be in. If you haven't got the Conquests expansion, the mod won't work.

Look out for the Tupi leaderhead coming your way as an era-specific 3D fully animated leaderhead. I've done all the eras, the final era is going through the four-hour rendering process. It's going to be available tonight on Civfanatics. This is my first go at a full leaderhead - you'll see all the previews and be able to upload in about 2 hours.
 
I could have sworn I used a different civ icon for it. Oh well. Its the Pueblo Cheif icon from Steph's American Conquest conversion units Pediaicons download everyone. You can either ignore it, fix it yourself, or I could use the easy upload feature to fix it, what does everyone think?
 
I got the following error message after trying to start a game in the mod:
