Now i'm working on the second version of my mod (I've already posted here and on Steam. Try it), this version involved naval reforms. Here are questions regarding to Navy of the Antiquity to Renaissances.
1. Did Galley and Quadrireme has been displayed correctly? My checks with Asset Editor turned out that Quadrireme looks more like Trireme with three bank oars and less oars than Trireme in Civ5
civ6 quadrireme.jpg

^ Quadrireme as seen in Civ6. Barbarians skipped galley entirely. but judging from what i've seen here it looks too light to be superior to Trireme

Civ5 Trireme.jpg

^ Civ5 Trireme, as seen with SDK Asset Editor tool. this one clearly has more oars than Quadrireme which in truth it should be opposite.

^ Civ6 Galley

I even considered creating a new model file using these three existing ones as a base material to make trireme. Why? because I want to include Trireme as an upgrade to Galley (itself an evolution to Galley), stronger melee warships of the classical era.

Did Firaxis understood Quadrireme warship correctly? Did triremes and quadrireme with curve deck exists? Googling only shown ones with flat decks, including Olympias.

2. What are Byzantine Dromons? flamethrower warships, are they also a type of galley?
3. What are medieval galleys looks like. In addition to Viking dragonhead longships. did European crusaders come to The Levant on these galleys? and how did crusader galleys looked like, did the Roman era terms like Triremes and Quadriremes still remain in use to refer to these galleys? or did crusaders use any?
And did galleys of this era began to lose upward pointing fishtail?
4. What types of galley did Galleass evolved from? did Galleass exclusive to Venice?
5. Should Bombard Galley appears in Civ6 as naval ranged choice too?
6. How did chinese warships in Battle of Red Cliffs (Three Kingdoms) looks like? what was the Jian (艦) looks like at that time? did they use galleys in that battle too? or did they invent paddle wheel galleys where crews were assigned to turn these wheels using each of their feets by that time?. i've saw these kind of warships in one of Chinese war flicks two decades ago.

We think a lot alike. These are all questions I had. I should mention I looked them up a few months ago, so my memory may be a little off, but I got the answers all from wiki, so they're there if you need them.

2. They're a type of mediaeval galley. It's more advanced than classical era galleys
3. They are aesthetically mediaeval galleys. If you see one you'll recognise the differences. They're slightly more advanced, but the main difference is their aesthetics...

Mediterranean galleys are different entirely from northern European galleys. No, they didn't come to the Middle East on those galleys. Most of them came by land to the Mediterranean, and bought Mediterranean ships. Although it's worth noting that the first crusader/pilgrim ever DID come on his Norse ships, around the continent I believe. I can't remember who he was, but he's only notable for the fact that he started the tradition of crusading to the holy land.
4. I believe Galleass wasn't exclusive, and it evolved from Mediterranean galleys. The design of galleys was fairly uniform, by which I mean that once a single design became popular, everyone started copying it in the Mediterranean. Furthermore, places like Venice sold ships, so they sold them to everyone they could. The Crusaders in one of the last crusades bought an entire fleet from Venice, enough to carry over more people than they brought, which caused the crusade to fudging suck.
5. I think so. I don't know though.
