On NCAA FO0TBALL 2010 can you edit players in off line franchise mode on the xbox 360?

In Madden 10, I know you can't and it is the dumbest thing. I hate restrictive video games. If I wanted to create and older team it would take forever. Those idiots have the roster, even before you get into franchise mode, subject to a salary cap. I was wondering, does anyone know how many players you are allowed to create on madden 10 and/or ncaa football 2010? I love customization, and I love throwback teams, they should have kept these things around. Also season mode they should have kept. There are so many things to discuss here about how cheesy $60 video games have become. If anyone is interested in this and knows some of these things, let me know how you feel. Myself I am mad about it. Madden back in 2005 was a hell of alot more customizeable than it is now.

I also threw away $70 on Madden 10. All you an do is return it to Gamestop and hope you get $25 store credit.

NCAA 10 I know you can customize an entire team of your own created players. I have completely customized players (no computer generated ones) for my school, which is also created.

Madden 10 I have no idea, I only play the Superstar section to see how my players fare after 4 years in College. I never play franchise or any other mode.

No actually I did not buy it. I rented it from family video. I wanted to see for myself, because I wanted to see firsthand, the changes of both versions from last year. I am sick also of paying $70 on a game. The last one I bought was Battlestations Pacific. But to me, Battlestations Midway is better, the graphics are more realistic, they took alot away from the second game, because of the larger scope.

I am going to try out NCAA Football 2010 right now and see how it is. I don't think the new Madden is nearly good enough to spend alot of money on. It looks alot better than last year, but too restrictive with franchise mode, no editing players, things like that just make it a lot less fun. They have got to stop rushing these games, they are getting worse every year.

I found NCAA 10 much better than its predecessors and Madden in many ways.

But 1 thing I wanted to see returned was the battle in the trench, with NCAA 10 the left analog stick being rolled down then up just as the ball is snapped to beat the offensive lineman opposite you is a waste of time and rarely works for me. I wish for it to return to the pressing of 'x' (PS3 console) to beat the lineman. Other than that it is perfect in my opinion.

NCAA 10 is great, I feel they have tightened up the CPU defense, and it does put up a
much better fight. With 09, I pretty much had 3 to 4 easy touchdowns with halfback screens, and by throwing short passes out to the halfback who is wide open then just run for the touchdown, and I usually beat the safety to the point where he can get between me and the endzone. In 10 it is much harder to do this most of the time. I love the controls for these college football games, and the interface is easier to see than Madden 09 or 10. Madden just seems uncomfortable playing it, I know the controls because they seem really similar to NCAA, but just a different interface, I am not used to it yet. It is also very hard to see the stick controls that get listed.

On the xbox 360 I tried to use either the RB and LB buttons to block shed the O lineman. But of the two games I played on varsity, I won both, but I am trying to get used to the game a bit. It was damn fun though, and I wish Madden used the same format.

Madden's commentary for 09 and 10 is just horrible. They need to get those folks in the studio, man oh man. They should send all of them in, Terry Bradshaw's panel and Dan Marino's AFC commentators as well. They should set it up as if your watching football on Sunday, with a decent halftime show with highlights, maybe even an interview or something new and different each time. If its a Monday night game Jaworski and Gruden should commentate, with the third guy I cannot remember right now. They should give you a few throwback teams and a few teams of nfl greats to play with. I play offline so I would like to create and edit players on teams in franchise
mode. At least they can make a reward system or something, where if you do well you can edit some players, or create a player in franchise mode.

As far as NCAA 10 I wish they would bring back those old leather helmet teams, they had in a game for PS2, back in what? 2005 or so

Is NCAA 10 $60?
