Need help with un-patching google chrome/fixing cosmetic youtube problem

Is there a way for me to unpatch Google Chrome? Ever sense their most recent patch the loading bar on youtube videos disappeared. The video still loads and buffers correctly, it just doesn't show how much it has loaded. I tried clearing my cache and deleting cookies and it had no effect on the loading bar. I've been doing Google searches on the problem for the last two days and I haven't been able to find an answer. I would like to either 1. Fix the problem (I would prefer this option) or 2. find a work around like switching back to the previous version of chrome until a patch comes out or doing something similar. Thanks.

PS: My firewalls are up to date, I do not remember installing any new programs around the time the problem began, nor did I make any other changes that I can think of.

Ok. Then any other ideas on how to fix this?

PS: I just realized that the loading bar shows up just fine when I am in incognito mode
I am using Google Dictionary, AdBlock, and Google Mail Checker. The first and last one are official Google programs, while the middle one is a third party app. If I pause Adblock, it doesn't make a difference, the loading bar still remains.

I just found the solution. when I cleared the cache and cookies the first time I hadn't seen the "from the last hour" setting. Apparently I had only cleared the last hour. When I correctly cleared the cache and deleted all cookies by changing that setting to delete everything "from the beginning of time" the problem disappeared
