Need tips for my first Prince Game

Its the year 1800,
I finished murdering Egypt and I am now the largest Empire in existence. The problem is Rome refuse to stop the war, the war weariness is killing my empire and newly conquered areas refuse to work. my science rate is at 70%. 30 Turns ago I was millitary ahead but now everyone has riflemen and Im beelining for infantry. I feel like Russia in the 1900. Slighty obsolete then two other civs. What should i do

Drop the science slider as much as you need to get rid of most war weariness (especially starvation level weariness) and keep fighting. If rome refuses to quit then drop science to 0% until Rome is dead or vassalized.

That's the only language the AI understands

You are beelining infantry? How far away are you from assembly line? If you get infantry and they still only have rifles then you are certainly ahead.

I finished coporation but the Hannibal and Juluis is about 4 techs in front of me. They are have a Penisular war with each other. They both took one city, Hannibal on my side. The year is near 1800 but still in the late 16th century
