Babylonia was finally becoming a stronger influence in the land. It has finally made peace with all its neighbors, and has gained an ally through war, Judea. Together, Judea and Babylonia comprised of the most powerful force in Middle East.

On the other hand, Babylonia was also prospering economically. A new trade route had been opened with East Arabia, the son of Babylon.

Also, the Zigurrat in Babylonia was being upgraded. Now called the Hanging Gardens (not a wonder), the Zigurrat was the most beautiful place to be in the Middle East. Babylonia was strong, powerful, and beautiful.

Pictures of beautiful Babylonia were drawn:

Persia
STORY:

A lot of things had happened to Persia recently. One of those things was the attempt to establish a trade route with Kasah up north. And as the Persian economy grew, this finaly became possible...
At the same time, Persia was creating new friendships, Carthage being it's most recently aquired friend, a great wonder, and a big army. Emperor Xerxes III was indeed creating a strong empire. But it was an undenyable fact that the Persian empire was pretty stretched, and even a bigger army was needed...
It was also becoming clear to the emperor that there were several nations going after Turkey. Emperor was, unfortunately, still afraid that one day the Judeans or some other crazy country would again try to take Turkey, and he decided that Turkey needed to be protected from outside threats...

ORDERS:
Grow economy
Establish the trade route with Kasah
Keep on building the naval wonder
I'll PM you more about troop placements and stuff...

Update 9

Nations Conspire Against nations, and rumors of War.
Around the world, nations are moving their military, some secretely conspiring for invasion and war.........and it has finally happen...........the celtic-roman war brakes out.

The Celtic-Roman War.
In dawn, 2 celt armys moved into unprotected roman land, taking many villages, they are expected to get more rinforcements of another 3rd army behind them, the roman reacted, how ever they were only able to halt their advacne due to a inferior training level.
however the romans received a message from a captured celt messenger to tell the germans to advance, the romans far east took the initiative and invaded geramany, taking and destroying an army by total surprise, the germananic capital is close, this daring attack might draw much attention away from rome.
who knows if allies will come help, but it seems this war will last longer than the greek-hunic war.

Barbarians at the gates!
after stayion on the border of egypt and persia, and seeing noone woould come to push them far away, they decided the nations were weak and invaded! however these are not very strong or cordinated barbarian attacks.

Carthage keeps pushing the spanish barbarians much more, w/ fanatical soldiers, carthage is about ot conquer all of the ibeiran peninsula.
in the south they keep advancing, now they know the place of the mali capital from a merchant on their path.
still no communications, but it is expected a welcome party as they pass the borders soon (next turn)

the nations keep building their wonders, however no new neation has begun to build any new one.

the britons accept peace for now, w/ no cost of land to the celts.......for now........

General Leptus released the wodden block that was holding back the strectched lines on the ballista. The giant log flew trew the air, and hit ground right in front of the iberian defenders. Those unfortunate souls who stood in the first 5 rows where the ballista struck suffered serious injuries to their legs. But it was only going the get worse, the next ballista arrows would not be sharpend logs as usual, no, they had been tipped with a clay pot, it had a small hole on top with a burning fuse. When theese arrows hit ground, the pot broke and flames engulfed those around it. Leptus started out his carreer in the army as a ballista operator, and new full well the damage theese things could cause. Infact, the incendiary arrows were his idea and he used them to great effect. Unfortunately, he did not have very many of them seing as he had not gotten permission to manufacter them on a large scale. After hearing about this battle, the High Command must let him produce more...

Meanwhile in Carthage, Hannibal was sitting in another dull meeting. Being Emperor wasn't all that it was cracked up to be apparently.
"Okay, lets hurry up here, whos next?" Hannibal yawned
"Governor Simson of the Sahara province."
"What is it you want, more money perhaps? Well you wont get it, NEXT!"
"But Emperor, i did not come here for money, i came because barbarians on our southern borders have crossed in to Egypt." Simson said, hoping he had not angered the Emperor.
"So what. Let them have their fun, after all it's only Egyptians theyr killin! Hahahahahahahaha haha haaaa..."
"But Emperor, when the Egyptians retaliate, they could turn to attack us."
"Silence, buffoon, when the Egyptians retaliate they could turn to attack us! So, what to do, what to do... Yes, you will take an army with you on your way south, and remain on the Eygptian borders. Don't do anything until they cross over to our lands."
"Yes Emperor, thank you Emperor" Simson said, turned around and proceeded to walk away.

In the small port of Cartagena, amdiral Pervus was just arriving with his fleet, that was heading due west. He saw vast lands that could grow lots of grapes, wheat and other grains. Instead, they were over grown with weeds. He ordered the lazy locals to cease their siesta and sow some seeds.
