Democracy at its best, The World Votes:
97% of every nation has someway or another voted on wether or not merge to the superpowers w/in their spheres of influence, most nations however, have remain and will remain neutral, as voters overwelmenly display their feeling of strong nationalism, after this month, it is very very unlikely that nations will merge into others by simple diplomatic means. (this means, that the rest of the world will not merge into u even if you ask, from now... well ull have to send in troops to "persuade" them to annex to u.
however, some nations did voted to become members of a larger entity, the small list is the following:

Nations in central europe voted agaisnt merging w/ the balkan nations, but have accepted to continue their allience to them.
The Cuban Political Crisis:
the following is from a TV speech from premier of cuba...
Today... under the supervision of several neutral nations... a great vote has taken place, the peopl has spoken, and here are the results.. 46% pro-communist.... 64% pro democratic, i will comply w/ the voice of the people, and as of tonight, 7:00 pm havana time, i resign the premiership of cuba, and will hang it over to the democratic opposition.

The Fall of Suriname:
all resistance has simple given up today, as the capital of suriname has fallen, the EU has placed a puppet govt and has stablished total contorl of the nation... (this is the reason canada remains neutral)
The Fall of Kuwait:
for the second time, the iraqui army has taken kuwait city, this time, some of the people of kuwait did welcomed the new modernist reformers of the UIS.
the Invasion of Congo:
the nation of Congo has been invaded!!!, the CoSAS has sent 4 armys and have already captured 2 cityS and 2 others are during siege, one of which is the capital, the 3 armys of congo, made out mostly of reserves, fight curageously but are simply no match for the invading forces, their largest army, the first army, does its best to defend the capital w/ its international airport, in hope someone sends military aid... the entire east of congo is about to fall in disarray.

i already said this in the first udpate, you cant research better stuff like better battleships, it would be a pain to keep up w/, as i would have to come up w/ its a/d/m stats, and would simple make everything a bit more difficult for me to keep up w/, so no, all battleships and such have the same strengh and weakneses, you can "reserach" them for story purpuse but no more.
