In america the cuban standoff between cuba and the USA continues to escalate today as the emericans refuse to back off despite considerable international pressure, we receive rumors of ... wait, the president of the USA is addresing the nation....
My Fellow americans, cuba has always been a threat to this nation since the days of the cold war, i have authorised full military preparations, as it seems taht this new axis of evil will not allow liberty and freedom come to its citicens... we do not wish for war, and we assure our allies thorughtout the world that we are not doing this as a sign of imperialism but of hope for democracy trhoughout the world!, god will be on our side!
... well that was the leader of america, we have rummors of their airborne divisions on stand by, and maybe even warming the planes engines, we have also receive info of a massive marine buildup in florida....

India continues to challenge america, being the leader of opposition, they seem to have sent some military aid to cuba, today the indian expedition army landed in the havanna international airport, welcomed by many, who welcomed them and gave flower to them.
an unknown number of private corporations and individual govts. have pledged to send some economic aid to india for its brava attempts to protect real freedom.

the shape of the world has changed quite unexpectevly fast, in asia the vietnamese has joined after tokios pleads. mongolia answered beijings call, and there seem to be a coup in zambia, swearing alliegence to the southafrican nations... however some sources claimed taht it was due to high level military presure...
The EU continues its so called "anti-terrorist "campaign against the nation of suriname, whose capital is expected to fall very soon....

howeer we return to our main story, the cuban crisis escalates as SATO has finally pledged to send aid to cuba....

OOC,ok guys, this time make sure yall only use the "banked economy" which is what you currently have, so do not add the ammount of income, i already did so.

china444: you cant jsut send an army to cuba, the one u specified is not a expeditionary army and u need a transport for regular armys.
you cant divide ur fleet by sending a portion of it, you have to send the entire fleet.

just making sure, sending troops in a transport alone is very dangerous, it has virtually no defence measures, so keep it in a fleet w/ battleships and stuff to defend w/.

fleets carrying troops will be on map as X(Y), the x means the fleet, and the Y the army is carrying.

one last thing, can everyone PM me the orders from now on.... they seem to sink w/ the diplo

everyone can have up to 10 armys now, not 9, i made it 10, so that everyone can build 1.. yes only one, special army, "expeditionary forces".

this special army can have no more than 15,000 troops.
they can be airlifted anywhere in the world w/ a few exeptions:
they can only land in friendly territory
they need to be by a friendly city to be airlifted again.
you cant increase numbers, trainibility or equipment while outside your territory
(specialty is the only exeption, for example if russia has troops helping colombia, they can have the jungle specialty)

nobody has a "expeditionary force" army, so you must create it like the other ones.

Cuba is a communist nation, but it has changed, like china is more capitalist nowdays.

every superpower can have up to one expeditionary army, and it can go anywere, as long as it follows the "landing rights" rules, read above, i jsut quoted myself

well, u see, every update last a month, so it acctually took them around 2 weeks, the army is designed for fast air deployment, you can get urself one, anyone can.
canada and mexico are still voting, burocracy nowdays do take their time, so it will be a few turns.

the forces protecting cuba dont have any major projectile weapons like missiles or anything, mostly armor, infantry and support aircraft like attak choopers and jets.
