Global Events:
This is the year of secret projects. Nearly all nations seem to be working on something secret.
Sioux leader, Apawhata, was assasinated by Iroquois nationalists. This triggered a large Iroquois uprising on Sioux and DC territories. It is, however, unorganized and unlikely to last long.

PLA is at breaking point, as despite retaking Panama Canal, it comes under continued Brazilian attacks. The Aztec border, a possible escape route, has been cut off, and PLA is currently making its last stand at the Panama Canal. However, the Brazilian soldiers are dismoralized by the events at home.

Etehualpa, facing no opposition whatsoever, brought an end to the Incan Civil War becoming the Incan Emperor. True to his promises, he established a constitutional monarchy, even though most power is still held by the Emperor and his nobles. Incan Empire has left the Quadruple Emperiste and made an agreement with PLA and Cuba to share the Panama Canal with the new Central American nation that they plan to create and with Cuba, plus free passage for the Comintern. For some unknown reasons, Russia occupied the Falklands.
Brazil under attack! It all started when, while near defeat, the PLA detonated a nuke which was smuggled to Rio de Janeiro two years prior (-1 Economy for Brazil). Lord Iago II was located on the frontlines, but the city itself and the rest of the government died in the explosion. Almost at the same time, the DU officially declared war on Brazil, revealing evidence that Brazil hosted the Black Army (in fact, it seems that the Black Army was the Brazilian army in disguise all along). Russian forces already occupied the undefended Buenos Aires and Belem (resistance is quite low, but the people of Buenos Aires don't quite understand what is that whole Argentine thing Russians are talking about), while the White Helmets force landed to the south of Rio de Janeiro. Already while landing, the news of the nuclear destruction of Rio de Janeiro reached the White Helmets task force. The Ehre Korps landed in Central America soon after. The surviving Rio de Janeiro defense units attempted to halt the White Helmets near the beach, but failed. Desperate, the Brazilian government seems to have launched three nukes on ballistic missiles. First two were thrown at the White Helmets. One nuke was intercepted, but the other annihilated a large amount of the White Helmets force. The third nuke almost decimated the Ehre Korps, but missed just barely. Brazilians had supposedly three or six more nukes left in its nuclear silos, but the Russian air reconaissance discovered them and the fleet destroyed them with the new Propel-class missiles. Ehre Korps occupied a beachead in Central America, but failed to advance to Panama Canal as the core of Brazilian forces were now cut off in Central America. Due to the Quadruple (now Dual again, probably) Emperiste, Oceania also is dragged into this war.

While the promised British force failed to arrive (and with the plea for help falling on deaf ears), the Irish still managed to put down the Ulster rebellion in most areas. Army of Ulster is weakened, but its leadership escapes capture.

Referendums in Scandinavia lead to the Norwegian northern territories returning to Norway, but in the former Swedish territory, the Finns are majority as the Scandinavian government evacuated a large amount of population from there during METO War. Thus the iron-rich Swedish territories remain Finnish.
Burgundian partisan activities continue. Also, several mystirious assasinations of communist party members, German officers and comissars for the province of Burgundy. In Holland, however, guerrila attempts fail due to hostile population.

Albeit the fascists nearly won the Balkanese elections, eventually they were defeated by the Capitalist Democrats.
The Theocrats in Egypt seem to be frozen, not doing anything at all apart from yelling at Libya. The Fascists, meanwhile, agree to pay the economy compensation to Libya, signing peace with it. Arabs invade Egypt and though they did suceed in taking Alexandria (they had to kill quite a lot of civilians as the charismatic local fascist general managed to rally quite a lot of people to his cause. There were unexpectedly large casualties, including a few sabotaged ships), attack on Cairo goes wrong as Ahmad ibn Rashid slowed down their offensive there with guerrila warfare, and also studied quite closely the Battle of Alexandria. Thus, he faked a fighting retreat in Cairo during the urban fighting and then his mobile army surrounded the Arabs in the city, pounding them with artillery. Considering that quite a lot of people in Cairo are rebelling against the Arabs, the Battle of Cairo seems to be one of Arabia's worst military failures.

Sudanese forces withdrew from southmost Egypt, allowing the local strong Fascist movement they tried to battle to take over. Theocrat inactivity leads to the fascists seizing more vital territories.
Liberian maneuvers in the desert prove that Liberia still has the best desert army in the world, as it had ever since WWII.
Elections are being held in Turkey. In the same time, Project Saffron is finished.
India is pretty much rebuilt now, and Pakistani military is on high alert.
Congress and senate elections were held in Oceania, and a surprising amount of chairs was won by the currently ruling party. However, the communists claimed that the elections were rigged, and a large rebellion begun, this time throughout nearly all of Oceania. Ten divisions worth of men already deserted. Apparently, the communists have went into the underground back then, and now they regroupped and reorganized themselves, infiltrated the army and all of Oceanian states, and having gained the support of general population (even the Maoris have allied with New Zeelander communists this time), rose up again. The rebels are now also armed, with Oceanian and what seems to be German and Cuban weaponry. Oceanian military was on a high defense level, but did not expect such a widespread uprising.

On May 1st 1920, the world was shocked and amazed at yet another triumph of humanity, science and communism. It was the day when the Komet, Earths first artificial satellite, was launched by the Germans into the space, using primitive ballistic missile technology. As soon as that happened, Premier Iosif von Dunkelheit removed the shroud of secrecy from the much-rumored about Project Aurora. It is a three-step space program, and its first step was already taken.
Von Dunkelheits speech was broadcasted throughout the world. In the communist nations, this led to cheering. In capitalist nations, there was gasping at this triumph. In a few secret research centers, curses could be heard as several nations failed to reach the orbit first. The prestige of communism increased, as PRG was now confirmed to be most advanced nation of the world. This is not only a propaganda victory for PRG, but also for the communist parties throughout the world, as many people begun to reconsider their views on communism.
Von Dunkelheit promised to put a man on the moon within this decade.
