The neighborhood has always been boring. There was a recent ban on all fireworks out here, and no one really noticed (still heard the traditional noise ones). Last year or something they were made legal again, as long as they aren't airborne (so you could put 'em out if they start a fire). All week you could hear them going off in spurts. Almost sounds like random resistance to some invading army. Of course, I'll be putting on a show tonight. I never really had real fireworks as a kid, and with the short ban...well, now's payback

Oh, and uh...not really a celebratory thing - I just wanna blow sh*t up
