What is the difference of golden horde and Mongolian empire?aren't they the kinda the same?

As far as I know, Tatars are turko-mongol people, descenting from Mongolian upper-class and those conquered people- Volga Bulgarians, Kipchaks and Cumans, mainly Turkish-speaking. Mongolian people are east Asian people, mainly Buddhist.
And the golden horde Khanate is a de facto independent state, at war with other Mongolian Khanate time to time.

but if they are mainly the same.we show it with the Mongolian empire because they are Mongolians and acted like Mongolians.

Yellow should be text colour of GH like in paradox games.

I like this. Hopefully leoreth will include this if balanced well.

The Golden Horde broke off from the Mongol Empire shortly after the establishment of the Yuan dynasty (like the Chagatai and Ilkhanate). It was the pre-eminent power in (what is now) Russia throughout the 13th and 14th centuries, until civil war and a Timurid invasion weakened it and it disintegrated into many small Tartar states, which were eventually conquered throughout the next couple of centuries by Russia. Certainly different from the Mongolian civilization, which ingame represents the Yuan dynasty and the Mongols in, well, Mongolia.

No, the Mongol civlizations represents the entire Mongol empire, including its successors.

Not saying that it is always doing it well, but it's still the case.

it kind of bugs me when someone makes a mod and someone else basically says: "you shouldn't have made this mod". what do you want him to do, delete it and apologize? obviously he wants to play as the Golden Horde, a politically distinct successor state to the Mongolian Empire which existed for hundreds of years. obviously he doesn't agree with you that the Golden Horde and the Mongolian Empire are "kinda the same" and the fact that he spent hours making this mod and then posted it here suggests that you're not going to change his mind, so I really find your comments unwarranted and pointless.

@Qiu: thank you for making this mod. it looks great and I can't wait to play it.

Yeah, the best thing about modding is that you aren't beholden to anyone. You are the one who's doing the work so you can just create whatever you want.

Hmmm, the difference between Tatars and Mongolians are no smaller than the difference between the Americans and the English. They were living in a new environment, facing different rivals and challenges, believing in a different religion and gradually merging other people into a new nation. I think they are more or less like the Greco-Bactrians, and Bactria plays very well in other mod like RFCCW and RFCA.

I didn't say that this is a bad idea.I just said that because i thought they were for Mongolian empire and they just acted like vassals.in fact,I always get happy when more civilizations comes.

sorry if I over-reacted, it seemed like you were arguing against him having made the mod. I realize also that English is probably not your 1st language, so I think is misinterpreted your statements.

I think this would work very well, as Mongol respawn. There aren't even any Mongolian cities in the 1700 AD mod and Mongolia AI often fades away in it's core rather than suddenly collapse after massive conquests.

It's true that Russia doesn't really face any real competition anywhere in the east, and none of Eastern Europe faces any kind of military conflict into the late game either. Could really improve this area.

UP:
I don't see how the old would be implemented so here's another suggestion:
- Gold gained from razing cities, depending on size.

Difference between the Tatars and Mongols is actually pretty significant, but for gameplay reasons it's not too important. There were a lot of Turks in the Mongol armies, but the groups themselves belong to different language families.

The Tatars actually should not be encouraged to raze cities. It's a lot better to represent the Tatar Yoke which was all about letting the cities be and collect tribute from them.

By a CK2 converter right?they aren't in EU4.
They should be in. I remember tearing into them as Novgorod.

Ilkhanate and Chagatai are comparatively unimportant.
