Well, I guess I could live with Darius running the Sioux as well, as I'm almost up to Flintlock. They are pretty strong when they get Mounted Braves and if they have the forest-mobile Raiding Parties as well, it could be a tough fight. However, I LIKE a good battle!

Only if the others agree, though.

Well done on Fort Buckingham - I was rush-building a Stockade, but I needed to hold it for two turns to do that with my finances as they are. However, I moved all my cavalry regiments back to New Haven, fortunately, so I will just retake it next turn.

It might delay my conquest of White River by a turn or two though....

Actually, you would have kept it had you kept your dragoons in there. I only had enough full-strength units to kill the pikemen (on grassland) and demi-culverin battery, and then I had a war band 4 squares away, meaning it could get there but it would have had fatigue were there any units left to attack. So you could have kept it, or at least for one more turn.

Well, c'est la guerre!. The Pikemen I'm shipping in next will be supplemented by Grenadiers soon, so I'll be "Patient"!

...and a Horse Trooper, with a defence strength of 1, I would not trust to stop even a half-strength Warband (attack 4)!

It's not like it'd be 'unbalanced' or unfair for me to take both, since they're toast no matter what. However, there still was no action between French and Iroquois troops. We still believe in a peaceful solution.

Btw. Darius: I wasn't going to attack the Iroquois ever.
It would cost me way too many troops.

Well you would have had I given them to the AI, correct? This is the logic I used when I attacked in all directions. Now that I'm keeping them indefinitely do you want peace?

This goes to everybody btw, everyone except England can have peace now that I know I'll be keeping them.

And finally remember everyone: I consider the Sioux to be at peace with all nations, at least for now. Attack them at your peril.

Nope, actually, I wasn't even going to attack them if they were left to the AI. I thought about leaving them to the Dutch and English. I already have enough cities in the New World and the English and Dutch can also have some. So no, I wasn't going to attack them.

Darius, I would be interrested in peace, but I do want some compensation for your foolish behaviour. Cede me the cities of Wood Lake, Long Water, Great Falls, Stone Beach and Big Water and you can have peace.
If you don't, war will continue and the French empire will be victorious.
