Why thank you, I'm honoured. This gives me the incentive to write more entries for those two. Here's some more for Laggs Nyr I had time to write before being suddenly called to work.

By the way, I noticed that the quotes when a leader is defeated are civ-wise (except for a few leaders). It may be interesting to have leader quotes. Here's a list of those leaders who already have a unique quote:

Well, now that I've actually managed to see Weevil, Pickle and Hyde in action, I get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside of me but also noticed that few of the entries are a bit wonky. AI_DIPLOCOMMENT_PEACE is what the leader says after the initial contact and when you choose peace. I'll look for more errors and I'll update the dialogue then.

In the meantime, I wrote some diplotext for Thudr of the Doviello. I encountered him in game for the first time and while he shares Charadons text, I found his traits and favorites inspiring. So I imagined him as a strange and enigmatic leader, whose head is filled with too much magic/spirituality/hallucinogenic substances and he speaks in metaphors. Similar to Hakunin from Fallout 2.

No more diplocomment to add as all the others are USER_DIPLOCOMMENT. As they aren't used for the leaders, I guess we can forget them.

But if you decide to do any updates, I will add them (unless I like old ones better ;) )

Thudr is an incarnation of my favourite nordic god, Odin (including his name). You have made him more of a shaman but I still think it fits (strange and enigmatic leader, whose head is filled with too much magic/spirituality/hallucinogenic substances). Thank you for these :)
 
Many thanks for the compliments. The list of diplo_comments and their explanations weren't 100% accurate while I was writing stuff, so I know some comments are in the wrong place. I haven't had the time to properly test it and find out which ones, but I'll try and find out this weekend. I'll write a few new comments then.
 
Yeah, sorry for the non accuracy. I didn't find a post explaining in details where all the entries were used and didn't test them either. If you spot a wrong description, tell me so I can change it (I think you already tell something like this above...).
 
Okay, AI_DIPLOCOMMENT_PEACE is used after the initial contact and the initial choice of war or peace. So I rewrote that. I haven't found any other dialogue that's in the wrong place so far. Here's some new entries for Weevil, Pickle and Hyde. Btw, what exactly is the correct tag for leaders/civics/units/religions/etc? I'd prefer to write stuff with the correct codes in place, to minimize the work to add them.

  • [OUR_CIV_SHORT] is the short adjective.
