Here's one to add to "Server is Busy" or "The Administrator has blocked your IP Address"...

It's the first time I've seen it. Does anyone get it regularly, so to speak?

I assume it's a misreading of the cookies by the site?

Same here. It usually happens when my cookie expires... and I have to log in again.

Don't use aol to browse, if you do you will get that error.

When it happens in IE, however, you can try again and it will usually work.

Again, DO NOT USE AOL TO BROWSE!!!!!

Urrgh. I wouldn't use AOL if you paid me.

Well, I might. If you paid me a lot. But I wouldn't like it. Unless you paid me loads. Anyway, I don't like AOL, and I don't use it.

The only time it usually happens is if you edit a post, but instead of hitting ok you hit back...for some reason this seems to upset aol.

It happens to me a lot, sometimes by AOL (stop blaming them!) or by something to do with cookies. What I don't get is if you cookie expires, then why can you still post but not vote in polls? At least, that's how it works for me.

Yes, I was waiting for someone to pick up on that ;)

I think TF had got trigger happy, and my ISP chose an IP from a range that had been banned.

I wasn't banned, honest! I've even got TF's PM to prove it :D

What would be the intention on blocking a wide range of IP addresses anyhow? I don't understand why TF would block an ISP range.

Never used AOL.... My netscape has given me very few problems

Yeah, that just means the server is busy - too many connections, etc. You mean the screen that mentions MySQL, right?

Haven't had that since the latest ameliorations :goodjob:

I always stay a mile away from AOL. ;) I'd stay 100 miles away, but unfortunately, AOL is just about that far away!
