The actual idea is posted in this recent comment:
Caveman 2 Cosmos (ideas/discussions thread) | Page 969 | CivFanatics Forums
I just wanted to make it a separate thread for easier discussion.
So, what do you think about it?
I find it quite relatively easy to implement and quite interesting to spice this already great mod with MORE greatness.
Mind you, there can be codes for ANY level of achievements - from reaching Galactic Era, to conquering the world, to building 100 cities (lol), to whatever you can think of.
And they don't have to be end-game-only.
Heck, you can even put an [Evaluate My Game] button somewhere inside the game itself, lol.
And if you fear of button-abuse, simply make it that you can only input just ONE CODE per [New Game+].
So the better the code - the better the bonuses, and NOT stacking.
Waiting for replies. :p

A joke version of this:
You play game #1 and reach Galactic Era.
You play game #2 on a space map and conquer 100 planets.
You play game #3 on an "Earthlike alien planet" - and you start with a Mecha as a starter unit.
SPOREverse, here I come!!!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

I don't consider it a joke as much as a consolation prize multimap method that could be implemented if we fail to implement a proper one.

As for the rest, it's something to apply once needed. I know we talked about something similar for a time travel method.

You mean space travel, cause I don't remember discussing anything about time travel (though it would be just as cool, of course).
And I don't find such "campaign mode scenario list" route to be a BAD option to begin with, even as a standalone concept by itself.
Making Civ go WarCraft is just as FUN, after all.
Or even going Spore (minimalist version) by combining several "different civs" games into one space map by adding "code-edited" enemies that YOU yourself created.
After all, Spore does exactly that - you literally can attack your own OTHER SAVE PLANETS during a "different planet" run, loool.
I even enjoy NUKING my other saves, leading to glitches and all fun stuff like that.
This is easily implementable here as well.
Heck, we can even make a Customize Your Civ editor JUST for this purpose - and then sort them by grades (and make custom scenarios based on THAT as well).
So you could edit your enemies not just in a generic way, but actually in a DIRECTED more specific way as well.
You can make a Warrior / Scientist / Farmer / Militant / etc. Civ with actual pre-built units and buildings - and have a huge variety of them, not just a generic difficulty list.

By we, I may not mean you.
