New Game - No ICS

[BorderPatrol]

I would like to start a new game with a cap on how many cities you can build. This will force people to definitely change their strategies around and will make for an interesting game.

This number will not include conquered cities.

I am thinking that the cap on number of cities should depend on the size of the map.

small (40x50) - 14 cities
custom (45x65) - 18 cities
medium (50x80) - 23 cities
custom (62x100)- 29 cities
large (75x120)- 35 cities

If you are interested in playing a 1x1x ongoing game with city cap that goes until Alpha Centauri or when all players have been defeated then reply indicating which civ you want and we will set up a playing schedule for everyone.

The other stats are negotiable but here are my suggestions:

Level: King
Size: custom 45x65 (18 city cap)
Barbs: Restless Tribes
medium, varied land mass
cool, wet climate
restless barbs
no timer

I am always interested in a game. Can we overcome time zone differences though??? (I am GMT+1)

If so, then I will play as the Germans.

I may have to have a stand in though, as I will not be around towards the end of July.

Fox I would like to have you but These games will be scheduled around US time zones because I think it will be more of a chance of being a success if everyone is from the same time zones. Unless you can arange your schedule to play at those times?

edit: That goes for Az too... can you guys rearrange your schedule to play around game times set based on US time zones? Email me your schedule of availablility for playing if you can. (they will generally be played weekday evenings in the time frame of 6 to 11 pm NY time and weekends between 10am and 11 pm NY (eastern) time.

atawa has already emailed his schedule of availability to me and he will be able to play.

BP, I am not really able to get free around those times (It would be 0100 or 0200 here when you would be starting), so I will have to gracefully decline. But....

I will be back in the States in about 4 months or so. Then I will be able to sub, or pick up the game from there...
