New Goblin Civ?

I saw Valkrionn mention that Goblins were gone from the Clan of Embers because they are been used for a new Goblin civ. Can we have anymore info or should we just speculate wildly? :eekdance:

maybe it won't even be on 1.3 and only on 1.4 or 1.5 so until they release something on this we'll have to SW ;D
 
If this means they will henceforth take a dumb on their own grounds instead of mine, I wholeheartedly support it. :mischief: ( my record was the goblins visiting 4 times within 20 turns )

4 times within 20 turns ? ouch ... that could piss someone off ...
 
I pled with Valkrionn for an option on that dumping event that would let you attack the goblins (spawning some significant number of goblin units). He said something like that was possible, so maybe we'll have a more satisfying way of dealing with it.
 
I just took out the option where it gives you -1 food on the plot. No more frustrations after I did that.

Create within a tile at range of x from every existing city a goblin who let's out an humongos crapsausage that pollutes 3 up to 6 tiles of land with a -3:food:

Not to forget the -4:yuck: for every affected city - because of the crapparfume...

So let the crap rule the world (what it actually does... my philosophy teacher said always: "There are only three things in live that you really have to do: piss, crap and die. All other stuff is on your own decision.")

Valk, please give us a crapnation of goblins!!!

How about giving goblin civ an option to... "cause some ecological damage on enemies lands" so to speak. :p

Zarcaz is from RifE, and was then merged by WM.

And he will remain a Barbarian hero. ;)

As for the worldspell... No. Just no.

I wounder if they will be based in anyway off of the Nortek...

Not in any way, shape, or form. In fact, there is absolutely no lore developed for them yet. Just mechanics.
 
I would love to see hobgoblins and bugbears make it into the mod. These poor goblinoids are always being overlooked.
