New Idea

well just write it here first then post it and greekguy can transform it and give you credit if you want :)

yeah, like BCLG said. just write it up here and everyone will look at it to make sure it is good, gamewise, grammerwise, etc. once we have a finished scroll, i'll copy it over to the parchment and i'll then post it in the main forum. hopefully everyone here will write lots of scrolls and we can get more views then the MIA and D'Nut papers. :D

The next Epsitle for the Great Book of Meleet has been written. What do you think, Is there anything that you can see that needs to be changed? I wasn't quite sure about the size needed, but this seemed to be what was needed, but then again I could be wildly off. ;)

The High Sacred Priest of Meleet came to me siliently in the night and proclaimed to me that I must show to all the danger of crossing Meleet, our Great lord god, and so this warning will be told to all as it has been commanded, to the smallest detail.

So from the hand of the scribe, Lost_civantares, the word of the great Meleet is brought forth.

Throughout time there as always been those who would go their own way, what ever the cost, and so it is now. Those of the Donuts, those who would leave the protection of the sacred god Meleet, have defied Me, and they will pay. To destroy that of Meleet is to die, and even if those of the dienherited mounted Warriors win the field of battle for a day, even capturing a city, but all must doff their sword at the thought of Meleet. This Sacred law, know to the smallest, poorest slave of even nuts, has been violated with the toarching of of His sacred temple in Carpetbomb.

The wrath of Meleet, known to all to be even more distructive than even of TNT, especially to those who adhere to the philosophy of spam and all its abhorence, will be wielded. Even before times unknown His wrath has known no destructiveness which will soon be seen. The roused Dragon will come forth, and the persuit Doom will be fearfully observed by all, except one, one who will no longer be there.

seems good, by next satruday i should be able to add a couple more scrolls but have got coursework to finish first :)

Nicely done lost_civantares. :goodjob: Once we write a few more scrolls for the Bible, i'll convert them to the paper and post them in the main forum. how does every time we write 3 scrolls we post them in the public forum sound?

btw, if anyone wants to do converting themselves, feel free to. i don't have to do it all, as this is a group effort and we can all add some scrolls to the bible. the only thing is i would like to post it in the main forum, so if you do the converting, post it in this thread first. the reason for this, is i think we should keep all the scrolls in the index in the first post. that way the other teams can find it easily. :) here's the parchment paper i found on Google that i used for the first 3 scrolls.

yeah, they could. i wasn't thinking there for a second. :crazyeye:

ok, i've converted lost's scroll onto the paper. Here it is:

now, should we post this one in the public forum now or should we wait until we make more scrolls?

think we should wait until we've got another couple, i still havnt had time to write one, ive got 2 essays and a personal study due in for monday.

In the beginning Meleet created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Meleet moved upon the face of the waters.
And Meleet said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And Meleet saw the light, that it was good: and Meleet divided the light from the darkness.
And Meleet called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And Meleet said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And Meleet made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And Meleet called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
And Meleet said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And Meleet called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and Meleet saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the third day.
And Meleet said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
And Meleet made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
And Meleet said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
And Meleet created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and Meleet saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
And Meleet said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So Meleet created The Ironic in his own image, scientifically adept, the most intelligent the world would ever seen, while also being the hardest workers on the planet, in the image of Meleet created he him; male and female created he them.
And Meleet blessed them, and Meleet said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
And Meleet saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
And Meleet rested on the seventh day
And on the eighth day Meleet created the people of the Greeks, forever to be missing in action, scientifically strong and the masters of all things monetarily, with sure footed defenders.
And then Meleet rested for seven days for creation was a torrid struggle on his social life.
And on the 16th day Meleet created the Galls, granting them to them a belief structure and aggressive qualities that would leave them as feared warriors

A year later Meleet decided to clear out his workshop and noticed one of his failed peoples, that of the Iroqi he decided to put them on the earth to see how long it would be before they killed themselves granting them the skills to wander around aimlessly in a mood.

Well theres my offering, think we should wait till we have at least one more story and then post em :)

If we could come up with an idea for the devil I could do a story. I don't think that we would want to make Chieftess the "devil" (just wouldn't be good form you know ;) ) do we want to go want to make Regent_Man or Ginger_Ale the devil, or might we might want to make a rival team leader the devil? Any other ideas?

Ok then, I'll see what I can do then with Dinsog, that villinous creature of the deep and maybe robi_d as his nefarous minion.

donsig or greekguy you got any scrolls in the work? it'd be good if TNT cold have a major 'find' of scrolls.

well, actually i was just thinking about how we could explain D'Nuts insanely good luck during the war. this is what i got:

From the Ironic King greekguy:

And so it came to be that one day a lowly peasent of Iroqi came knocking at my door and demanded to speak with the Great Ironic King greekguy. He claimed he defected from Iroqi Nation and wanted to show his allegiance by conveying intriguing knowledge to my person. I decided to see what he said and judge him afterwards. This is the tale he told:

'My Lord, I am sure you and all other Great Ironic Lords were wandering why your people were so unfortunate in battle against D'Nuts, even though you prayed incessantly to the Great Meelet. The reason this occured was because we discovered during the war that the Great Meelet was sleeping and paying little attention to the activities of our world. So, the Iroqi decided to turn to a new Deity for worship...his name was Dinsog. He is the Anti-Meelet, and he promised us victory in battle if we offered our souls to him. We decided the price of our souls was worth vicotry in battle, and thus, we prayed to Dinsog for centuries on end. This brought us victory after victory in battle against the armies of Iron. When the war was nearing its end, the Great Meelet awoken and was prepared to punish us for our disloyalty. That is why Iroqi signed the treaty of peace.'

He then said he hoped this information had proven his allegience, and I said he did. This man now holds a minor position in running one of our cities. But an even more interesting story I wanted to hear, was of the origins of the Evil Dinsog. To learn this, I had to travel across Iron to find the Priest lost_civantares...

take it away lost_civ. :)

seems good, donsig?

Great! Can't wait to see what lost_civantares comes up with. I'll try to do up something soon. Maybe something along the lines of Sodom and Gomorrah that I can tie in with Carpetbomb and FI being burned. Then Meleet sends us two by two into the Sacred Jungle to build cities. I'll work on it - playing the turn right now. :)
