New Let's Plays

never fear, more will appear. :mischief:

I agree MadDjinn LP's are the most knowledgeable ones so far, and really the only ones played by a true master. :king:

The only gripe I have is that with the combat animations off, they are immersion breaking. I love watching those little soldiers setting up an attacking, instead of just flashing around a couple of times. I understand why he does it that way, but still would love them more with the animations on. :mischief:

maybe for the preview LPs I'll turn animations back on.

though, that'll slow down actual gameplay.

My vote is for efficiency, I can watch animations on other vids or on my own PC soon enough.

I vote off. If you have Kate Upton for an hour, you don't want to spend half that time watching her apply make-up.

If this forum had Like buttons, I'd be clicking this one. Lol

His third city with 1 pop finishes Clinic, but his health only goes up by 1, from -3 to -2. (Clinic had quest bonus so it is +2 health) Then third city grows to 2 pop, his health stays at -2.
Later around 52:40, third city completes Pharmalab with 2 pop and the health is unchanged.

Local happiness wasn't a very important mechanic of civ5 anyway (in BNW)
It's rare that you would make happiness buildings in low pop city. The only real strategy that involved it was the sacred sites ICS.

Kind of make me wondering why they copy paste that kind of unneeded mechanic from civ5 though if it's still the case.

What if she looks terrible without make-up ?
I vote on. The faster pace doesn't justify an uglier and more confusing experience.

BE has far more health from buildings than BNW had happiness. You can get +4 health from buildings per city (+6 with quest choices) after only researching Genetics, and later you'll get more. ICS would be too easy.

Well, considering that we don't have that many global happiness sources (e.g. no luxuries), it seems that using local happiness/health is a good way to control the number of cities during the game stages.

I vote movement animations on, combat animations off.

Also Mad will probably do whatever the hell he prefers, it is his LP you know.
