After experimenting around with the landmark terrain files, I have decided to make my own Mount Fuji graphic. I used Pounder's graphic as a slight base, and hope he doesn't mind me doing so, but for the most part, I tried to make a completely different graphic (as far as me achieving that, I'll let the public be the judge). Note that this is a LM Mountain terrain file. If you have questions on using Landmark terrain, post them here and I'll be happy to answer them for you.

Here's a preview of the renewed Fuji-yama as it's featured in my unfinished scenario, Sei-i Taishōgun: Blade of Fury

EDIT: Here's the download for the file

EDIT, EDIT:

While I was making this file, I actually started out with an image that looked completely different. It looked more like an actual dead volcano than the real Mount Fuji, and as such, I scrapped it. To be honest, it didn't even resemble Fuji in the slightest. But since some may have a use for it, here's a snowy dead volcano graphic:

Looks pretty sweet. :goodjob: Fuji San Ichi Ban!

The textures that you use on that first one look like they'll work well with Ares' terrain pack 2. Was that the idea?

Great job, man! This scenario looks really fun. I still think (if possible) it should be taller. Right now it looks shorter than the regular mountain, it should be towering over them!

Indeed, I've been trying to sync all creations with his new up and coming terrain pack, because for me, it will be the norm that I use for all scenarios. No other terrain pack is as stunning as his, he indeed shows excellent talent with that puppy. Just look at the coast lines and water graphics he's created! They look so life-like, especially for Civ standards. And his revised plains top anything else ever created. I hope this Mount Fuji will mesh good with his set.

Hmmm, I never noticed that, but now that you mention it, I have to agree. I'll see what I can do to make it taller and still retain the typical Mount Fuji form.

Thanks for all the comments, they are always appreciated! :D

Seems that doesn't work. I tried to test the limits of the graphic upwards and sidewards, but it seems I've placed them at the graphic boundary line as it is. I did have marginal room to expand sidewards slightly, but that would only make it look even smaller.

Maybe it's just an optical illusion that the normal mountains look bigger. ;)
