New NES!

Hi im new i just registerd but ive been watching for a while. I would like to Know if any1 would like 2 participate in a new NES. The story takes place in the Year 2005 A.D. Rome, Britian, and Greece are the main superpowers..........

Here is the current sitiuation:

All countries were asked to abolish their ICBM's

Germany and Britain didnt comply hostilities are arising between Roman- Greco Alliance and the European Union

Egypt and persia are so far neutral.....

Check the UKNES2 fist page... Has a lot of normal rules to put in a NES. As for the map, you want to talk to Uknemesis, he is a great map maker.

Well here are the rules:

Please make your posts sound realistic most of them here sound like board games. ill do the first post to put an example.

Diplomatic rules:

Every 5 posts (turns) we call for a UN meeting in which we discuss diplomatic relations, declarations of war,etc.

To use nuclear missles is purely up 2 u but might have a major impact on ur reputation. u can use them every 5 turns

u can establish an embassy in a rival's capital but they cant be formed in your own preset alliances (European Union, Greco-Roman Alliance, etc.) because u already have 1 in ur allies capital from the start. this is what u can do ( britain with rome, but not britan with germany) an embassy costs 10 credits

U can Spread Propaganda but this costs 15 c (credits) and only has a 50/50 chance of making a city turn into your own city. example (1st time works 2nd time it dont or it might convert half of the citizens and gives the propaganda spreading country 10 c)
I will decide if it works or not if it is not in 1 of my cities.......Persia will decide if it is my city...BUT NO SAYING IT WORKS ALL THE TIME.
note* u can only do propaganda if they are ur enemy and only every 5 turns.

u can sign right of passage,MMP, and emabargo (which cuts off supply of c for 10 turns) (we get 5 c per turn)


Country rules:

Each nation has 1 capital and 10 cities (except for the superpowers which have 12 cities)

(jason can u upload the map on to the post i cant do it i dunno how) When we get the map we will redecide the cities for now its the way i posted above.

(can some1 suggest a way to calculate who wins a fight)

President Augustus threw his tactical reports in the trash "D*mn Germany! D*mn them to h*ll!!! the head of the preatorian walked in "sir are u ok?" "ya im fine, those stupid Germans wont back down their ICBM's and niether will britain." the president looked up "we might have to declare war Lucius...and no doubt the germans will mobilize their nukes. Get the UN i want a hearing tomorrow morning." "yes sir" Lucius answered.
"what about the greek, what have they said about this?"caeser responded. "sir we havent heard anything from them."

** a few hours later **
The President was having a meeting with his top general Antonius Maximus .......


"sir we can mobilize the paratroops quickly drop them on berlin, and take the capital."

"what about the english?"

" we can utilize the same strategy"

" i will not allow it"

"why not sir"

"while we are taking berlin the english will probably retaliate and nuke a few of our cities. killing millions...."

"very well sir."

they waited till the UN hearing


OOC: that will happen when we have germany and britan and greece. tomorrow ill be gone till sunday. so we can hold of the NES till sunday if we dont get started today or b4 tomorrow evening.

well, jason, unless the world is a small white square with a red cross in it, it didn't work

actually ive tried myself several times, and i never got it to work from the CFC file server, the only thing that came up was the DownLoad box, not the picture that i had intended...

This is of course for self defense, and I am sure Britain means the same. Italy must mind her own buisness, as we do not intend to harm another European nation with these warheads, for that would also harm Germany! We will allow the UN to inspect our warheads, and etc................................."

"President, my government is currently creating a democracy, and free elections are going to be held in the next months time. Do not lead me to reming to council of your past horrors.

Council, I urge you to aid my nation in fending off Italian aggression, as you can clearly see that the President has lost it, and we cant fully rely on the checks and balances of the Italian congress to vote nay on a war. I go forward for a peace-keeping force to enter both mine and Italy's nations, so that war does not happen.." The council was at awe at the invitation for UN troops in his own nation. Mayhaps it was a good idea...

"Britain will not be intimidated in to removing the only weapon that allows her to defend her self against mammoths like USSR, PRC!" Larson watched the faces of all present, and they were shocked indeed, they never expected that Larson who had been quiet all day would have such a temper...
"We may be able to stretch ourselves to the German propostion, about the UN inspectors, but there will be no dismantling in the near future." Ambassador Larson got out of his seat and exited the room with a smile on his face...

But we urge that you dismantle your ICBMs.....if you do not comply be prepared for war with the greatest superpower in the world!!they never noticed the gun in the newspaper...... then there was a gunshot. Caeser stumbled over and revealed a wound in his stomach. the room was in total chaos...............
