Eh, seems alright. I still prefer PBEMs though since there are no hard limits on turn times.

Did you change to the new version of the hosts file? Looking back through the thread it seems like you did...
Or is it a firewall problem?
 
I'm still getting mails for new turns btw.
 
From the game server, or from CivStats?
If it's CivStats, just hit "unregister" next to the game name.

Sadly I did changed to the new host and yes, I cannot connect to anyone, not only in this game but in other games too. I had some problems with the router few months ago (the router had lost all settings including port forwarding and passwords, so as a result a lot of neighbors enjoyed my nice internet for free - people were looking at me with new expressions lol) But I am almost sure I was able to log in games with other peoples after that. I upgraded my internet plan (those neighbors require more bandwidth lol), which might had influenced somehow my connection.

I will set up the proper port forwarding for civ again and hopefully this cures the situation. Otherwise, I log off almost immediately after the game tells me I am blocking someone. For this to happen the one who loggs in must wait few seconds until the game tells him "Unable to connect to xxxx" because this is when the game gives me a notice someone failed to connect to me.

Your problem is not related with portforwarding. In general you only need to have one (2056) port forwarded to host your own game. Blocking peers comes from security settings in special software like firewalls or antiviruses, windows or router itself.
 
One of my brothers have passed away, and I need to concentrate on myself and my family right now.

If there is a problem with the game that needs host intervention, please contact spacetyrantxenu or Grimace over at Realms Beyond for the time being. They have full access to the details that are necessary to reload the game, or restart the server itself if needed.

Thank you all for understanding. I will let you know when I am "back in business", but it may take a few weeks considering the season.
